FURNITURE PIECES

All our furniture is hand-painted, competitively priced and unique, meaning you could easily own a one-off piece for less than the cost of a flat-packed version from the high street. We also stock a range of furniture made from recycled scaffold boards, which can be made to order and to your specifications.

CHALK PAINT

Frenchic Furniture Paint has no hidden nasties and is an all-natural chalk and mineral paint. It has no added VOCs and is SOLVENT FREE with no odour. It is thick and rich with superior coverage, but can also be thinned by simply adding water. All of the products and paint are EN71:3 certified meaning they are safe to use on children's furniture and toys.

Original Range

It is an all natural, chalk and mineral paint that requires no stirring, shaking or the addition of water. There are no added VOC’s, toxins or solvents and it has virtually no smell - which is important when painting indoors! All the ingredients are displayed on each and every tin!

You’ll find that it’s creamy, rich and has superior coverage.

New and Improved Lazy Range

The Lazy Range is a totally unique chalk and mineral paint with a wax infusion and has all the Frenchic qualities you have grown to know and love. It is self priming, self levelling and self sealing with no odour and is a smooth and gorgeous paint with excellent coverage. It is robust and it really is a 'paint & go' as it needs no buffing nor sealing! Simply dip, paint and go! It is also wipeable, certified EN:71-3, so is safe to paint childrens toys etc and dries in a couple of hours/

Al Fresco

Frenchic is bringing the inside out with its new hard wearing and weatherproof chalk-paint range specifically developed to protect your garden furniture, while at the same time transforming your outdoor space into a colourful, trendy haven. It has also gone through rigorous testing to be certified child safe (EN 71:3). Al Fresco - a breath of fresh air for your garden!

Many people are now recognising that the hard wearing and weatherproof properties of the Al Fresco range make it ideal for use on such projects as kitchen cupboards etc

Waxes and Sealers

Frenchic Furniture Wax has no hidden nasties and is an all natural, non-petroleum based wax, with no horrible odour. It is simply fabulous for transforming your wooden furniture. Quick and easy to apply, a fantastic finish to your Frenchic designs. It has also gone through rigorous testing to be certified child safe (EN 71:3)

Frenchic Finishing Coat is made without any chemical solvent from non-poisonous materials, in an ecologically beneficial way, preventing water pollution. Thanks to its composition, it is virtually innocuous for people and the environment. It has also gone through rigorous testing to be certified child safe (EN 71:3).
It is ideal for protecting your furniture and for those areas that come into contact with water splash i.e. bathrooms and kitchens.
Our finishing coat also works wonders paired with FrenSheen.

Stencils

Frenchic stencils are made of high quality mylar that you can use time and time again. A practical A4 size for multiple purposes.

We are now holding a series of workshops in the Garden Room at the new village hall in Dersingham

Small Wooden Storage Crate Mon 25th Feb 10am - 12:30

Details

Decorate a small wooden crate (supplied) using Frenchic products and various techniques such as decoupage, crackle glaze and stencilling

We will start by practising some stencilling and decoupage techniques on pieces of board so that those who haven't done it before can practice before decorating their crate. The workshop will run between 10am - 12:30 .
There is a pop-up cafe on a Monday morning within the hall so refreshments will also be available.

Beginners - Paint Your Own Piece of Furniture Sat 2nd Mar 10am - 2pm

Details

Nervous about tackling your first piece of furniture? This workshop will cover the basics and give you the confidence to get you started.

We will cover furniture preparation, colour choice, painting and finishing techniques using the Frenchic eco friendly range of paints, wax and finishes.

Bring your own SMALL piece of furniture (no larger than a bedside table) and we will provide everything you need to complete your piece. A limited number of the most popular colours will be available on the day, but as the event is held in a hall, we are unable to bring the whole range with us. If you have your heart is set on a particular colour just let us know prior to the event and we will make sure we have it available on the day.

Refreshments will be provided and included in the price

Beginners/Intermediate STENCILLING WORKSHOP Sat 23rd Mar 10am - 2pm

Learn various techniques used for stencilling. Try out multicoloured effects, raised stencilling and ageing techniques to produce an antique look. Aside from Frenchic paint you will also get to try out other products such as Frensheen, Browning and Defining Wax
Use the techniques you have learnt to produce a canvas that you can take home and hang on your wall

Magazine Rack/Storage Caddy Apr 6th 1-4pm

Using Frenchic products and a variety of paint techniques , we will provide a wooden caddy for you to decorate and personalise in to your choice of uses . Maybe a magazine rack, tool box, storage for BBQ sauces, cleaning products etc ...

Easter Tree Workshop Sat 13th April 10am - 2pm

J & J Creative and Fade to Grey have joined forces to offer a combined Easter workshop.
A two part workshop giving you the chance to decorate a pot and create an Easter tree in the first half and then go on to design Easter decorations to go on your tree in the second.
The whole workshop costs £40 pp for the two sessions. Maybe you have a tree and just want to make the decorations for it, or perhaps you would like to come and create a tree but you already have decorations? In that case it's £22.50 pp for the one session.

CUSTOMISED SIGNS

A range of handmade enamelled signs, manufactured using traditional methods developed over 120 years and inspired by the World’s oldest manufacturer of number plates. Handcrafted, timeless and unique with a fabulous choice of colours

These signs are made to order and delivery time is approximately two weeks. They can also be sent directly to your home address at no extra cost.

CONNECT WITH US

Our furniture has been upcycled, it is in good used condition for its age. It is not new and you must expect imperfections such as marks, knocks, bumps etc which we feel adds to its character. Each piece has its own history and will show signs of its previous life. It is therefore possible that it may have previous repairs which we are unaware of.

All our items are hand painted and not sprayed, it is not a ‘factory style’ finish.

In regards to caring for your furniture, we would advise you to treat your piece of furniture as you would an antique. Avoid excessive water and objects which may scratch and use coasters under water glasses or cups. Clean with a soft cloth and avoid all liquid furniture polish. Following these simple rules will ensure you will be able to enjoy your piece of furniture for years to come
